HCPN clients sweep OOH Media Plan of the Year Awards
Both national and local honorees featured HCPN as part of their winning campaigns.

The Outdoor Advertising Association of America recently announced the 2007 Out-of-Home (OOH) Media Plan of the Year award winners. These awards are given to the "most outstanding creativity, innovation and success" in utilizing the OOH medium. Charles Schwab and its agency, PhD/OMA, won in the national category, while BlueCross, BlueShield of Tennessee and its agency, the Buntin Group, won in the local category.
Both winning campaigns featured Health Club Panel Network as a key media component.

The Schwab campaign in HCPN clubs included static panel advertising as well as digital advertising via HCPN-Digital Broadcast (HCPN-DB). The BlueCross, BlueShield campaign included panel and mirror cling advertising as well as branded yoga mats.
"We're thrilled to accept this award on behalf of our client, Charles Schwab," said Linda Kuglin-Smith, Associate Director at OMA. "HCPN fit really nicely into this campaign, both because health clubs offer such an uncluttered media environment and health club members index so high in financial services activity. This unique combination allowed Schwab's messaging to really make an impact over the course of the campaign," she added.
"HCPN is definitely a high-engagement medium, which was important for BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee," said Amy Cass, Account Supervisor at The Buntin Group. "The media strategy for this campaign was based on intersecting our target audience during their daily lives and delivering our client's messaging in places where they were most likely to be thinking about their health. HCPN helped us to achieve that goal."

HCPN hires industry veteran to open Denver office
|

Dan Sachtleben, a 16-year veteran in media and advertising, recently joined HCPN as a Vice President of Sales. Dan will be opening HCPN's Denver office, complementing HCPN's offices already in Los Angeles, Chicago and New York.
Before joining HCPN, Dan was Media Director at The Integer Group, managing more than $40 million in out-of-home spending. Dan also spent nearly eight years at Starcom, rising from an Assistant Media Planner to Media Supervisor with a specialty in OOH media.
"I am really thrilled to be joining HCPN," said Dan. "I've had the pleasure to work with and place successful campaigns with HCPN for many years, while at the Integer Group and Starcom. When I decided I wanted to move into media sales, they were the first company I called. HCPN has set the gold standard in terms of service and quality in the place-based media space while delivering a hard-to-reach yet very influential and responsive audience. I look forward to helping HCPN become even more effective and successful in the years ahead," he added.
